At SAAB, innovation and expertise meet in the pursuit of developing future aviation technology. The Manufacturing Engineering Structural Assembly department plays a crucial role in ensuring that Gripen is produced as efficiently as possible, focusing on cost, quality, and lead time.
About the role: As a Technical Planner at SAAB Aeronautics, you will work at the interface between design and production, where your responsibility will be to ensure that production is optimized for maximum efficiency. You will be part of a dynamic team of 20 people working closely together to improve production flows and ensure efficient and smooth production.
In your role, you will:
- Identify and analyze current work processes to create a more efficient workflow
- Plan how the workshop should be organized, focusing on optimizing material flow and the placement of workstations
- Review design documentation and ensure that it meets production requirements. You will act as the link between design and production, ensuring that any issues are identified and resolved early in the process.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- Higher vocational education or university degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or similar
- Relevant work experience can also replace formal education
- Requirement for Swedish citizenship
- Good knowledge of both Swedish and English
- Experience working in systems such as DELMIA and IFS ERP9
- Experience with LEAN methodology and flow simulation
- Experience in preparation
